A fourth property in the Gold Creek tourist precinct has hit the market, following the recent listing of the George Harcourt Inn. Leumeah Lodge, a 60-room hotel on the corner of Curran Drive and O'Hanlon Place, is now for sale with a price guide of $19 to $20 million.
The lodge is within walking distance of attractions such as Cockington Green Gardens and the National Dinosaur Museum. It specializes in group bookings, particularly for school groups, but also operates as a regular serviced hotel. The property is operated by the YMCA, now known as the Y, which has renewed its lease until March 2036. The current annual lease value is $1,106,327.29.
Selling agent Daniel McGrath from Ray White Commercial reported interest from interstate and local investors, drawn by the lease stability and site adaptability. He noted strong anchor tenants nearby, including KFC, McDonald's, Ampol, and a Hungry Jack's under construction.
The expression of interest campaign closes on June 18. Leumeah Lodge is the fourth property in the precinct to be listed in the past six months. The George Harcourt Inn was listed last week with an expected sale price of about $7 million, while Gold Creek Square has been on the market since March 2026. In November, Ginninderra Village was put to market after its owner went into receivership.
Despite the influx of listings, McGrath said there is little concern about the precinct's viability, citing the construction of KFC and the regeneration of Cockington Green. He noted that investors are attracted to the 'set and forget' nature of the investment due to the long lease with the YMCA.
