Co-selling agent Ben Linnehan from Ray White Albion Park said three bids were placed in total, with the winning buyers relocating from North Wollongong. The property had undergone significant renovations, including a new roof, kitchen, and bathroom.

He highlighted its rare position on the high side of the street, offering uninterrupted north-facing views of the lake. According to Cotality, the median house value in Mount Warrigal is currently $891,311. The auction took place during a week when the Illawarra region recorded a clearance rate of 56.3 per cent across 16 auctions, based on preliminary results for the week ending April 19.
