First Home Buyers Secure Renovated Mount Warrigal Home for $1.02m at Auction

First home buyers have successfully purchased a renovated property in Mount Warrigal, southern Illawarra, at auction for $1.02 million. The three-bedroom home at 29 Charlton Street sits on a 582-square-metre block and features modern finishes, indoor/outdoor living, and views over Lake Illawarra.

Co-selling agent Ben Linnehan from Ray White Albion Park said three bids were placed in total, with the winning buyers relocating from North Wollongong. The property had undergone significant renovations, including a new roof, kitchen, and bathroom.

Mr Linnehan described the home as a 'really well-presented home' with nothing left to do. He highlighted its rare position on the high side of the street, offering uninterrupted north-facing views of the lake. The property also includes a double car garage and ample storage, making it ideal for first home buyers.
