A 46-year-old woman has died following a scuba diving incident off Port Stephens yesterday.
Police report that the woman experienced breathing difficulties while diving at Nelson Bay around 10:30am AEDT.
She surfaced with an instructor and was brought to shore, where attempts to revive her were unsuccessful.
