A jet ski crash at Eastern Beach in Geelong sparked a physical altercation on Sunday afternoon, according to Victoria Police.

The incident occurred around 2.15pm when a jet ski carrying a man and a woman skidded onto the sand near the swimming area. Both occupants sustained minor injuries that did not require medical treatment.

Police said the male rider then became involved in a fight with bystanders, though no injuries were reported from the altercation.
