A man has been convicted after a dramatic police chase between Melbourne and Geelong. The incident began when the man was seen driving at high speeds down the wrong side of the Princes Freeway.
Witness Aaron told 3AW’s Neil Mitchell that he was forced to get out of the way as the driver sped towards him. Several callers to the show reported the car was speeding and travelling in the wrong direction.
Police arrested the man after the chase, which spanned from Melbourne to Geelong. The man was charged and later convicted for his actions during the pursuit.
