A 15-year-old boy has appeared in Albany Children's Court charged with the sexual assault of an 88-year-old woman in Western Australia's Great Southern region.
Police allege the teenager from Kendenup broke into the woman's home in Cranbrook on Tuesday night, stealing from her and assaulting her.
He was arrested at the scene and charged with aggravated sexual assault and aggravated burglary.

The boy has been remanded in custody and is scheduled to reappear in court in May.
