Teen Girl Critical After Three-Car Crash on Border

A 13-year-old girl is fighting for her life after a horror three-car crash on the Victoria-New South Wales border.

Crash Details

Emergency services rushed to Murray River Rd in Walwa following a collision involving a Toyota van, a Toyota Hilux, and a Holden Colorado at approximately 3:45 am on Saturday.

Injuries

The 13-year-old female passenger of the van was found critically injured and airlifted to hospital in a life-threatening condition. The driver of the van, a 50-year-old man, was also airlifted to hospital with serious injuries. A 10-year-old boy, another passenger in the van, was uninjured.

The driver of the Holden Colorado, a 27-year-old man, sustained minor injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment. The Hilux driver, a 20-year-old man, escaped without injury.

Investigation Launched

Police have launched an investigation into the incident and are appealing for witnesses. Anyone with information or dashcam footage is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
