Residents of Oxley are reeling after an alleged crime spree by three masked men that left the community in fear. The spree, which occurred on Sunday evening, involved multiple violent incidents, including an aggravated burglary and an assault.

Police allege that the three men, wearing masks, first broke into a home on Johnson Street around 8:30 PM. They threatened the occupants with a weapon before stealing cash and electronics. The victims, a man and a woman in their 30s, were not physically injured but were left 'extremely shaken,' according to Detective Inspector Mark Bennis.
About 30 minutes later, the same group is believed to have confronted a 55-year-old man on Smith Street, assaulting him and stealing his wallet. The victim was treated for minor injuries at the scene.
