At 6.44pm on Sunday evening, Abissantun Priyambodo was driving along Whites Rd in Paralowie when a Honda station wagon careered into his path. The terrifying footage shows both vehicles colliding head-on.

“While driving in our lane, another vehicle travelling in the opposite direction crossed into our lane and collided head-on with our vehicle,” Mr Priyambodo said following the collision. “The impact caused significant damage to the front of our car and it had to be towed from the scene. We were fortunate not to suffer any serious injuries, although both of us experienced soreness and attended a GP the following day as a precaution.”

Aftermath and Police Action

Photographs from the scene reveal the carnage left behind, with severe damage caused to both vehicles, including Priyambodo’s Mitsubishi Lancer. “We are grateful that both of us were able to walk away safely from what could have been a much more serious incident,” the 27-year-old said.

A spokesman for South Australia Police confirmed that the driver of the Honda was issued an immediate six-month loss of license notice.
