Corrections and clarifications have been issued regarding two recent articles. The first concerns the sale of the Skripal house in Salisbury. A headline originally stated, “Skripal house for sale – with no mention of novichok poisoning,” which was incorrect. The estate agent Carter & May's particulars for the property actually include the disclosure: “For full disclosure, this property was involved in the novichok event that took place in 2018.” The error occurred in the print edition only, and the web version was corrected to reflect the accurate information.
Lionel Messi Goal Age Correction
In another correction, an article titled “Ageless talisman spreads cheer with masterclass” (18 June, p47) incorrectly stated that Lionel Messi was 19 when he scored his first goal for Argentina’s national football team. In fact, he was 18 at the time. The error has been amended in the online version.
Other Recent Amendments
Additional articles that have been recently amended include: “Do new Isa rules mean I have to pay tax?” and “Behold the sunbrella, fashion’s stealth accessory for a heatwave.”
