Hugh Davies was outstanding, taking the equal-second most marks in a WAFL game ever with 21, to go along with 27 disposals. His fantastic start to the season has him knocking on the door for an AFL call-up.

Josh Draper continued his new role as a back-up ruckman from defense, finishing with 12 disposals, five marks, and eight hit-outs.

Leon Kickett, playing just his second Thunder league game, had limited touches but showcased excellent ball use with multiple bullet passes to leading targets and recorded a game-high seven tackles.

In the reserves, Ryda Luke moved further up the ground to gather his highest disposal count for the year, finishing with 15 disposals and four marks. Ollie Murphy collected 18 disposals as the key defender continues to develop in the twos.

Tobyn Murray could have been among the best but missed several easy chances in front of goal, finishing with three behinds.

Charlie Nicholls was persistent in flying for his marks against a strong South Fremantle defense. He held his ground in one-on-one contests, earning free kicks that helped him boot three goals.

Jaegar O’Meara returned wearing a face mask after sustaining multiple facial fractures at training last month. He was rusty but showed glimpses of his class.

Aiden Riddle has been excellent since taking over as the primary ruckman. He dominated the ruck battle against fellow 20-year-old Bulldogs ruck Aidan Harvey and undersized Riley Colborne, finishing with 38 hit-outs and five marks.

Jeremy Sharp continued his ball-magnet ways at WAFL level, recording 34 or more disposals for the third consecutive game.

Cooper Simpson pushed for AFL selection with one of his best performances of the year, gathering 25 disposals and six marks.

Adam Sweid once again hit the scoreboard but could have broken the game open had he converted his chances. The 18-year-old continues to impress in his first year of league football.

Toby Whan was quieter but still made an impact in contested situations, taking on opponents and winning the ball.
