Harry Styles Forgets Lyrics, Asks Fans for Help

Harry Styles has gone viral after a cheeky onstage blunder mid-performance led to him asking the audience for help. The singer, 32, hilariously forgot the lyrics to one of his songs and had to apologise to fans for pausing his entire set.

Styles is currently on tour off the back of the release of his new album Kiss All The Time, Disco Occasionally. However, the star found himself at a complete standstill when it came time to sing the track Cherry to the crowd.

Lyrics Escape the Star

Looking visibly confused ahead of the first verse, Styles stopped strumming his acoustic guitar and looked out to the crowd. He turned around to face his band and asked them: “What are the words?” Still unable to recall them, Styles then threw the same question out to the waiting audience, saying: “What’s the first verse?”

Everyone keenly started singing the song but at different times, making it harder for Styles to clearly hear what the lyrics were. He then walked right to the front of the crowd to directly ask a fan for the words before heading back over to the mic.

Gearing up to try sing the tune again, Styles cheekily smiled and said: “Sorry about that.”

Fans React on TikTok

The moment has since caught attention on TikTok, and fans of the star have been finding it hilarious. One user said in the comments: “It seems as though he was being really silly last night?! I’m glad he had a good time. Gotta enjoy life, we are only here for a short bit. Smile, laugh, and love.”

A second shared: “God, I love him.” Meanwhile a third added: “He’s so cute.”

New Album and Tour

Styles released his latest album in March, marking his fourth studio album drop as a solo artist. It follows the global success Styles saw as one of the five members of prominent boyband One Direction. The group formed on The X Factor in 2010, finishing in third place behind Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle.
