Corrections and Clarifications: Mounted Police Photo Error Corrected
Corrections: Mounted Police Photo Error Corrected

Corrections and clarifications have been issued for a recent article. A photograph was incorrectly described as showing mounted police attempting to “bring order to the streets in Southampton where they have been accused of a ‘two-tier’ approach.” In reality, the image depicted officers breaking up an anti-racism rally supporting Black Lives Matter in London in June 2020. Additionally, the photo was mistakenly credited to Justin Tallis instead of the correct photographer, James Veysey. This error appeared only in the print edition of the article “Rightwing criticisms of policing fail to add up” on 6 June, page 13.
